Crestview is the quaint neighborhood just north of Brentwood and south of Anderson Lane.
Crestview is a charming, tight-knit community in Central Austin featuring ranch-style homes and post-World War II bungalows. The area is bound by Burnet Road to the west, West Anderson Lane to the north, North Lamar Boulevard to the east, and Justin Lane to the south. The neighborhood was built in the 1950s on an old dairy farm. Back then, residents looking west had a clear view of the Hill Country’s crest. Now residents enjoy Crestview’s tree-lined streets as they walk or bike to nearby cafes, restaurants, and boutiques, or the Crestview Shopping Center, which includes a grocery store, barber shop, and pizzeria. In 2010, Crestview Station was opened providing commuter rail service to downtown Austin.
